Tickets will be held at the Door
Members and friends of URWA have the opportunity to participate in URWA’s newest fund-raising event- a reverse raffle and cocktail party on Saturday, November 13th, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m at the Willow School Barn Studio in Gladstone. By purchasing one or more ticket(s) at $200* per ticket, you will enter a 50/50 drawing for a grand prize of up to $10,000. But this won’t be an ordinary raffle! This one has a twist – instead of awarding the grand prize to the purchaser of the first ticket drawn, we’ll save the grand prize for the owner of the last ticket left in our hopper after all the others have been drawn!
Each ticket purchaser is invited to enjoy hors de oeuvres, cocktails and some light-hearted suspense as Irwin Abramson steps in as Master of Ceremonies and draws raffle tickets throughout the evening. The excitement will build as tickets are pulled and there are just a few people left with a chance to win the grand prize. These remaining ticket owners may entertain offers to purchase their tickets at a premium from unlucky participants who were eliminated from the drawing early on - or they may band together to ensure that they’ll each receive a share of the grand prize! The evening promises to be enjoyable for all ticket purchasers and profitable for the grand prize winner.**
As with all URWA fund raisers, proceeds from this raffle drawing will support our work to ensure the protection of the Upper Raritan Watershed through education, advocacy, land preservation, and stewardship.
