Dining for the Watershed
We were excited to bring forward a fresh idea that provided an opportunity for our members to celebrate Earth Day through an enjoyable, tasty and inclusive event that supported businesses throughout the watershed region. The response to our Earth Day celebration on April 22nd was extremely positive and enthusiastic - over two hundred diners treated themselves to a night on the town and helped local restaurants dish out food, fun and funds to support URWA. We are grateful to those who were able to join in on our new fund raiser, and to our friends who made contributions to support the event even though they were unable to participate. Special thanks also go to the restaurants that hosted diners: Karen Murphy

The Bernards Inn, Bernardsville
Ninety Acres, Peapack
Sammy's Ye Old Cider Mill, Mendham
twofiftytwo restaurant, Bedminster
The Gladstone Tavern, Gladstone
Café Azzuro, Peapack
The Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster
Gourmet Expressions, Mountainville

Redwoods Grill and Bar, Chester

The owners and managers of the thirteen restaurants that participated were delighted with the turnout and flow of the evening and they have already agreed to be part of URWA's Earth Day celebration next year, so mark your calendar for our second annual Dining for the Watershed event on April 21, 2011!
