The Upper Raritan Watershed Association (URWA) advocates sound environmental practices. Through our Natural Science Program, we manage activities and projects that encourage the public to adopt watershed protection practices. We accomplish this through outreach programs in area schools, field trips to Fairview Farm, training workshops in municipalities, hands-on projects and the distribution of educational materials. Many of our educational activities and programs are carried out with the cooperation and support of the NJDEP’s AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors Program. In the near future, an environmental educator will join URWA’s staff to expand our education and outreach efforts.  Use the toolbar to find out more about what you can do to help URWA protect our water resources.  There is also a page listing resources and links to other organizations we work with.
