Burnt Mills Floodplain

Treat your eyes to the sight of a carpet of Virginia bluebells as Spring unfolds at this 10-acre floodplain forest. This is a perfect spot for trout fishermen in season. Birdwatchers can enjoy the sight of Nature's fishermen: Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets. The Lamington River is also accessible to canoeists from this property.

Directions
From I-287: Take the exit for Routes 202/206 South. Travel into the village of Pluckemin. Make a right onto Burnt Mills Road. (There is a light at the intersection). Make a left onto County Route 641. Site access is just over the bridge on the right hand side. There is limited parking available.
